B. Agenda Review
Motion to accept the agenda was made by Frank Cochran, seconded by Catherine Gootkin; unanimous approval.

C. Review of Minutes
Motion to accept minutes were made by Frank Cochran, seconded by Maureen O’Sullivan; unanimous approval.

D. Report from Internal Affairs
Captain Blanchard provided the Internal Affairs report.

E. Case Review Assignments
Barbara Carroll assigned cases to Panels A & B to read.

F. New Business
Deborah E. Davis introduced herself as the Dwight Management Team representative and provided her background as a 40+ years resident of New Haven.

Barbara Carroll announced the start of the Citizen’s Academy that will begin September 8th.

H. Subcommittee Reports
Panel A gave an update on reading. There was no report from Panel B.

Catherine Gootkin provided a report on recent Westville Management Team activities.

There was discussion on case review with various comments made by members in attendance.

A motion to adjourn was made by Wayne Hobbs and seconded by Catherine Gootkin; approved unanimously.

Next meeting of the Civilian Review Board is scheduled for Thursday, September 9, 2010, 6:00 PM, at the New Haven Police Department, One Union Avenue, 3rd Floor Conference Room.
